Praise the Lord! Alleluia!
My name is Philomena Fernandes and this is my testimony:
I have been attending the Divine Mercy Prayer Meetings regularly for the past two years. I am working in a school and since I was nearing the age of 60 years, my school was about to terminate my services though my visa was valid for another year. I was much tensed since I had many debts to be cleared and I literally stormed the Divine Mercy Lord to give me an extension. I also submitted a petition on Friday to the Divine Mercy Lord begging Him to intercede for me.
Subsequently, on Sunday I went to the Principal and discussed with him my problems; and requested him to grant me another year’s extension considering my financial difficulties. I was very troubled since many of the staff had been terminated for the same reason as mine. I finished relating my problems to the Principal when, to my utter surprise, he just plainly informed me that I had been granted an extension for another year. My joy had no bounds as
I knew it was the work of the Great Divine Mercy Lord had heard my humble prayer and had come to my rescue – all I could do was thank the Principal and I never stopped praising and thanking the Divine Mercy Lord for this great favour.
Also one of my uncles in Mumbai, very poor and aged 75 years, had heart problems and the doctor advised him to undergo immediate bypass surgery for which he required Rs.5 lakhs. He had no money to spend and his son
was on the ship. He was hospitalized and day by day his condition was deteriorating. The family constantly prayed for him and again I placed this petition before my Divine Mercy Lord.
One day when the doctors did their normal check-up, it was discovered that he was stable and there was no need for the operation. This was undoubtedly a miracle and no one else but the Divine Mercy Lord had come to this poor man’s rescue and had cured him miraculously. All praise and thanks to the Divine Mercy Lord!
